Long timers typically still have a S/B home, where full timers like us live in our rig full time.

Some full timers have just forgotten where their house is

For us over the past several years, we've only spent four months in the house over a two year period and that was only a couple of weeks here and there. We'll spend a little more this year because of so many of our summer plans that have been cancelled.
We have a 50 amp full hook-up at the end of the house where we'll stay if only at the home base for a few days between trips.
We've managed to visit all 49 continental states and all Canadian provinces except the North West Territories.

That’s very interesting, and a lot of travelling! We’ve been to all the provinces, one territory, and all but six states.
Can you maybe list some things which you consider to be highlights, even bucket list items, that others may want to check out? Although we’ve been to a lot of places, there are probably a lot of things we missed.

We are on the road 8 months with about 30 days of intermittent time at the s&b. Not full time and not weekenders.

Longtimers months at a time trailer trash
Fulltimers real trailer trash. These are the guys we envy.

We call ourselves long timers and have since 2006.We have a S&B. Full-timers' IMO live in their RV 24/7/365 they do not have a Stick and brick somewhere the Rv is their only dwelling. There have been years when we may have spent only a couple of months in the S&B. This year we will no doubt spend 6 months or maybe longer in the S&B.
We actually Started out to full time but did not yet sell our S&B. That was a good move as full timing did not work out for us.
Our plan when we were both retired which was 2006 was to travel this great country and avoid ice, snow, sleet and freezing weather .We have done that. We have done over 100K miles since 2006 and covered all of the lower 48. We did it as long timers. It is great to hook up the Montana and hit the road. It is also great to to be home.
We have since 2006 spent 6 months in a warm area. We now Domicile in Ohio and winter at our Florida residence.

I think the difference is if you still own a Stick & Brick house or not.

Don’t own a s/b house. Sold it over 10 years ago. Been RVing for 45+ years. Spend our time in 3 different 5ers. Two are set up semipermanent the third we travel the country in.

Sometimes you need to tell a dealer, "I'M AN EXTENDED TRAVELER." - this maintains a warranty easier verses Fulltime.

Not sure where we fit anymore. We live full time in RV's, summer in the HC and winter in the Montana.
