Samsung fridge

I have a 3 door refrigerator with ice maker. I just bought the rv. I cannot get power on Samsung. I looked in breaker box and inverter and fridge not listed. Can someone help me turn this beast on?

No power to Samsung fridge. Breaker for fridge is on? Inverter is turned on? Fridge turned on; freeze/power freeze buttons depressed to turn fridge on and off?

I can’t get power to mine. I can’t find breakers or outlet. Freeze power doesn’t engage either. I need to know what to try to turn mine on

It helps greatly if you tell us about the year and model of your Montana. You say you have a Samsung, so I know you have a residential refrigerator. I personally have a RV refer so I am not all-knowing about the residential models. But from reading posts here, there is an inverter that powers your refer.

The Inverter is usually located in the pass thru compartment near the drivers side on the ceiling. The inverter should have a 120V AC power feed and a 12V DC power feed. When 120V is present the inverter passes the current onto the refer via the plug from it into the inverter. If no 120V is present, then the inverter, which may have to be turned on depending on the model, automatically will use 12V battery power to produce 120V AC to feed the refer plug.

You need to find the inverter and verify it has 120V AC power, 12V power, and that the refer is plugged into it. If that doesn't help, let us know.

In addition to what Carl said, mine has the inverter in the basement ceiling on the ODS side. Right next to the inverter there is an auto transfer switch with a cord and plug plugged into the inverter. Check that this switch has 120v when on shore power. If not, then the inverter should kick in using the batteries to supply power. My transfer switch was bad when new. Dealer replaced both transfer switch and inverter, as the parts changers couldn't figure out the problem.

When you open the door, does the light come on? If the light comes on, you have power. If the light does not come on, you do not have power. The Samsung refrigerators can never truly be turned OFF. There is a way to put the refrigerator in "display" mode, like they do in big box stores, when you open the door and the light comes on. The only way they can be turned off is if there is no power.

Check the breakers in your breaker panel box, make sure none are tripped. Make sure your camper is plugged into shore power. Yes, you can turn on your inverter too. And last ..... if you still have no light inside the refrigerator, make sure the refrigerator is actually plugged in!

Look in the battery compartment for a red switch mounted on the back wall it is on the 12 volt supply for the inverter
