Replace black and grey valves

I have a 2007 Montana, bought the valve replacements several years ago. Every time i attemt to replace I give up because there no room to separate the black pipe to remove old valve. Any suggestions?

Thanks Blaine

Many of us have cut the 3" pipe (usually downstream of the Wye) and remove about 1/2" of pipe. That gives you slack to replace the valve which is hard to come by given how they plumb everything in place. Use a Fernco No-Hub to bridge the gap in the pipe.

Just a couple days ago I had a similar problem. There was nothing wrong with my valves, but the pipe attached to the gray valve was almost broken in two. After cutting a small section out, and replacing the L-connection pipes, I used one of these to join the gap because I did not want to cut into the pipe for the black tank: Click here.
