Side mirrors

Does anyone know where we can get side mirrors that stick out farther than what we have? We want something that clips on and is not
permanent. We have the fastening side mirrors now but they don't stick out far enough. Or show much of the side of 5er.
Thanks

I had a Chevy truck, got some at Camping World, I think. Also, try a hitch company.
You might Google it and E-Bay search as well. Got's to see!

Not sure if this will work on your TV...

This mirror was one of those strap on mirrors.
I took it apart and bolted the brackets directly to the mirror.
There are 2 screws that hold the mirror to the brackets.
Remove the 2 screws and all you have left are the upper and lower brackets.

With this mirror I can see down the side and actually see any vehicle behind me.

I have a set of clamp on mirrors that are held in place by a knob that I used them for about a year and then found a good deal on OEM towing mirrors that tilt out. I sold the Dodge to my son in law and but still have the old clamp on mirrors. You can have them if this is what you are looking for.

We find that with the OEM mirrors on the 08 Ford and the rear view camera we have everything covered.

I tried quite a few of the strap on to your mirror type before I settled on what I consider the best. It is a McKesh mirror made by Hensley MFG. 1-800-410-6580. They mimic the old bolt on the door mirrors except they attach in the window and strap to the bottom of the door. Once you adjust them when you put them on they will be in the same place each time. They ratchet into place. You can almost take them off one handed. The reasons I found them superior are because they stick out far enough to see behind you and the side of the trailer and they do not vibrate like the mirror clip-ons seem to do. I have also used them now for over 10 years with no problems. Tim & Cathy

I went looking and found this site for McKesh:
shop.hensleymfg.com/mckeshmirrors.html

Looks like they cover every angle.
