Shore Power and Battery Disconnected

Hi all-
I want to run shore power 110 V AC all winter but don't want or need 12V battery charging.
Have new electronic mouse deterrents that run off of 110 V and easiest way to keep battery from continuously charging is to use the battery cut off switch.
Is this possible or will I damage the converter
Usually leave the cut off switch 'open' so the key can be removed and every 6 weeks close the switch and charge with shore power for a day or so.
Thanks, Bill C

Depending on the model converter you have it may not be necessary to disconnect the battery. Newer converters have smart charging profiles that prevent overcharging and properly maintain the battery. Just check the fluid levels monthly

Thanks for the reply. I should have said the Montana is a 2014 model.
Just trying to lighten the electrical load by keeping the batteries out of the loop.
