Looks good. A little closer to the end.

Mine is a 2008 3400RL and scheduled for recall on the transfer switch. Where in the devil is the box located? Service manager says forward of the front wall in the basement but it seems that wall is only about 3/8 " thick? Thanks.

Do you have a factory generator? If so I imagine it's by the generator.
Mine us aftermarket. I installed it.

Even if you don't have a generator installed, if it was factory generator prep it could be in the front storage area.

No installed generator, so would it be in the battery/hydraulic compartment?

Yes, that would be my guess. You may not even have one.
Let us know Rick.

On our 2007 3400RL, the transfer switch was on the back wall of the battery compartment, the rig has to be generator prepped for it to equipped with a transfer switch. Disregarding all the other additions (EMS, Autoformer, etc.), the transfer switch can be identified by the IOTA label on it as shown in this picture:

And, (back to the original topic), as usual, the Ozzman does impeccable work!!

I made one for my HC. I used 2 commercial square D 50 amp breakers and mounted them to a 3.5 X 7 inch peice of 1/4 inch fiberglass. Flip the handle forward for the front plug in and to the rear of the camper for the back plug in. Then I mounted it in the bottom of the convince center. Cost about $20 and it will never wear out or go bad.

Well gentlemen, I'm pretty well convinced that I don't have a generator prep and therefore no Iota transfer switch. Thank to all for your generous assistance.

Whooops! I found the IOTA switch. It was on the curb side of the "basement", inside the back wall, behind the short wall that's between the black water down tube and the access door. Thanks again you guys.
