New way to haul your pets around

We thought we would need to get a motor home or a mega cab truck to haul our dogs while traveling, but now after watching "Meet The Press" this morning I see there is still another option. You put your dog in a crate on the roof of your vehicle. (For anyone who didn't hear this is how Mitt Romney took his dog on a trip to Canada.)I just don't know how to get the dogs up on the roof.

Remember you have a 13' 6" height limit so measure the roof crate twice. LOL.

If those BIG dogs are afraid of heights, getting them up to the roof of your 5er will be your life's greatest accomplishment. I had a similar experience with a 95-pound yellow lab who didn't like getting his nails cut...

The rest of the story is that half way down the road the dog pooped and it ran out of the cage and down the back of the car. Rommey then stopped at a gas station and hosed everything including the dog. Setting aside the fact that most people wouldn't make their dog poop on the roof of their car, with those two monsters the volume of your problem could be considerable.

My wife would put me on the roof before our two pups left the airconditioned cumfort of our back seat. LOL!

When I first heard this I thought of National Lampoon Vacation and the dog that was tied to the bumper while traveling.

I will never again complain about how much room my 100 pound rottie takes up in the back seat of my truck

It's usually what so-called news programs don't report which would be of real value....

Save fuel and harness them to the front of the pickup. They look like they could pull you anywhere you wanted to go.
