Rally golf outing.

I have an email into the cg for info about their golf course. Once I get prices I'll see what day people would like to hit(or duff in my case) the links! It will probably have to be Friday or Saturday, as Thursday and Sunday will not be good days.

Steve -
We are planning on driving up Friday night. It will be a long trip, but if it were Saturday afternoon you could count me in for some hacking.

Ok, here is what I got from the cg about the golf package they offer. Except for holidays, green fees are half off, pretty good deal! Now if you were to camp there May thru June 24 or from Sept 8 thru Sept 26, green fees are free!

Count me in Steve if we can get enough to play! I'll be throwing my clubs in the Monte and I'll have them if we do get something going! We'll be there the 29th so any time from then on will do! Just let me know when and where!

Well Guys, depending on how my left knee is doing by then, you may not have to worry about me competing!

Found out earlier this week that, some how during a recent golf outting, as I stepped back from my ball on the green to squat to read it, I pinched or smashed a small portion of a miniscus tendon and now I have to have orthoscopic surgery.

All of this is going to be done over the next week or two, which will give it a good month to heal by the time the rally begins. So, chances are good, I'll be able to go out there and hack at my ball, too.

No matter what, nothing is going to stop us from making this trip because we have other campground reservations in Empire, MI for 2 nights before the rally. Everything is chizeled in stone, now.

MIMF, for sure you can ride along and harass the troops. Company and laughter is a wonnerful thing. Hope it's nothing major but I do know what can happen. My back is always in doubt but my head says play on...dumb and getting dumber..dl

Well, I don't golf but I sure can drive the Beer Cart for you guys!

As Dustin Hoffman said in the Rainman movie...."I am an excellent driver!"

Scott-- Rumor has it that if we had you driving the beverage cart, there may not be enough "golden nectar" left for us to get one from you! Is this rumor correct or just the typical rumor we used to hear in the Service and just ingore such a thing??!!??

I said I am an "Excellent Driver"...........Never did say anything about being "Excellent with the Brakes"!

You just have to catch me if you can as I breeze past you!

I don't golf but do consume. Guess that leaves me helping Scott on the beer cart.

Jim-- You guys on the "beverage wagon" are going to be crowded with Scott, Rich and you now! We'd better stock our own carts since with three of you on the "wagon" (no pun intended) there won't be any beverages left for us!! See you in Mackinac!!

I would like to also volunteer for the beer wagon. Maybe we need either a school bus, or I guess a limo would do.

Sure, Now everyone wants part of the Beer Cart!! Where were all of the helpers in the beginning?

I was taught a long time ago not to pick-up hitch hikers or free loaders! If you want a ride you have to bring your own Helmet!
