Deisel generator

I have a 2001 3280RL, and I'm hauling with a 2004 F-250 deisel.
I'm considering putting a deisel generator in the bed of the truck. Does anyone have experience in this area? Is it feasible? Could I tap into my truck fuel source? How and where could I tap into the unit for power?
Just a few thoughts.

Thanx,

JudoMD
