24 Volt Battery system to 12 volt

I have a 2021 3231CK and I'm installing 1600 watts of solar panels and a Victron Multiplus II using 4-200 amphour LiFePOE batteries in a 24v configuration. I also ordered the Victron Orion 24v to 12v converter to supply the camper which has a 70 amp output rating. Is this enough to run the hydraulic pump for the slides and leveling system? Anybody else doing this?

The hydraulic motor can pull a lot of amps.
I believe that's why they recommend running it with a battery.

The main advantage of 24 over 12 is that it is cheaper for wire and solar controller because you are moving your electrical using volts instead of amps. You tube has good explanations of this and other aspects of solar powering. The system you described is way overkill for the average rvr. I have 720 watts of panels, and 3 100 amp hr lithium batts. We use our solar exclusively for electric all winter in the SW USA. We run atoaster, a Keurig coffee maker, the microwave for short times, tv 3 hrs per day, plus of course all 12 volt applications, my power tools when needed, etc. In other words everything we need. Again, YouTube is a wealth of information for those new to solar power.

I paralleled two 70A Orions to address this issue.
