Outdoor Carpet

Anyone have a suggestion for a functional outdoor carpet? Need something that will dry fast after a seasonal rain storm. Had a muddy mess on ours in central NH this week. Appreciate any feedback.

Poly for us as well. If you have a Job Lots discount store in Holyoke or possibly Springfield, their selection is pretty big, especially in the spring

Poly here as well. They dry out really fast and no not soak of water. If you have mud coming up through your mat, you must be in a low spot

Take a look at http://www.outdoorrugco.com/id113.html We bought the rug we're using in 2003 and it still looks good. It's a poly weave. Doesn't kill grass, water runs through it, and it dries and folds smaller than any of the ones I had in the past.

I decided to get the artificial turf grass over the outdoor carpet specifically because I worried about having to roll up a wet carpet if we were leaving a site after a rain. The artificial turf is comfortable on bare feet, you can clean your shoes, feet, and puppy paws on it. It doesn’t retain water and it’s easy to hose clean when you get home. I got mine at Home Depot but saw them also at Walmart and Ollies, not expensive.

I have found the Walmart poly mat to be the best value out there. I leave mine out all winter and it still looks new. One year I left it behind (private winter site) and when I returned in the fall it was still there looking good. I like them so much I bought one for the patio at the S&B.

I would think that the artificial turf would hold even more water. I've just rolled our wet poly carpets and laid them in the truck bed. I do like the idea of the artificial turf being a shoe cleaner though since my wife usually insists I take my shoes off

Check ‘em both out, you’ll know the one right for y’all. The artificial turf is perforated so it holds no water.
