Where are you today?

Where are you today, the day after Thanksgiving? We are home in our stone house wishing we were camping some where. Oh well in a short time now. I have wondered what percentage on moc members are full time and how many are part timers. Its proven that something in turkey makes people sleepy. Hope no one ate a bunch and then hit the road. ha ha. Hope everyone had a lot to be thankful for. Happy safe camping. Jack & Janet

I just got off from working yesterday. It was a very quiet day for us, now I get to mow the yard and work on the Monty. I hope it stays cool so the grass stops growing for a while. Just put laminate floor in the fiver and have to finish the trim work today.

At home on Vancouver Island, about 45 minutes from Victoria, Won't be using my Montana until April but that doesn't mean we can't go out there and relax with a glass of wine.

Montanas have good decorator folks because I have never been in one yet that didn't feel like a great place to hang out. I hope all my American fellow Montana owners had a fantastic Thanksgiving.

We are in Whitney, Tx had a great Thanksgiving. We miss our family up in the Northwest but didn't miss the 30 degree temps. We enjoyed 70's. We posted pictures of the turkey on our web site. The Nesco came through for us again. Happy Holiday's.

We are fulltiming in our Montana. Today our back yard is nestled in the mountains of Benson, AZ. About 40 miles SE of Tucson. We will be changing our yard next Wednesday to Tombstone,AZ. for another week and then heading down to Mexico for awhile. Our plan is to go to Rocky Point and have the Sea of Cortez for our back yard there.

We are in Las Cruces, New Mexico --- enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving Dinner last night with our American friends. Weather is bright and sunny and warm. Heading to Tuscon on Sunday for four days then on to Yuma for the rest of the winter.

We also just got back from Black Friday shopping. The temperature in Northern Virginia is 32 degrees as I type. The Monty is winterized and parked next to the house. Looking forward to May when we hit the road again.

Helen, there you go bragging again! That sounds like a wonderful itinerary.

I guess what we did was Black Friday shopping this morning. I'd call it Happy Friday shopping as I love to save those $$ and get the gifts for Christmas. The crowds were so much lighter this year that it was a pleasure. Lots of items checked off of my list and a great feeling of accomplishment as I sit here in our stick and brick house, watching the Longhorns and Aggies play football. Go, Aggies!

We are in Independence, MO, in metro Kansas City. We spent Thanksgiving with our 3 children and two of our granddaughters. We have much to be thankful for. To answer your question, we are fulltimers. We'll endure the cold until after New Year's and then head south to warmer climes.

We are full timers. We are finishing our visit here in Southern Mississippi. After seeing all the damage here along the gulf coast we realize how blessed we are. We will be moving on to San Antonio, TX the first of Dec. We plan on spending at least three months there. Merry Christmas.

We had T-day with Lorraine's family yesterday and today was no different than any other Friday. Went to breakfast and than Yard and Garage Saleing. On Black Friday they could be giving the stuff away but I wouldn't get any of it. You won't catch me any where near the stores. I'll pay the regular price before I'll deal with those crowds.

We were in Orlando, FL yesterday enjoying the sun at the Encore Lake Magic RV park, Lot 401. However, today I am in Minnesota snow blowing 3 inches of snow. I had to fly back due to contract commitments to the Monticello Nuclear Plant. We have signed a contingent purchase agreement to sell the house and will be flying back and forth to Florida each month until all is settled. Happy Day after Thanksgiving! p.s. Glad I did not sell the snowblower yet

Full timing down in Naples, Fl. I worked today at Home Depot, really crazy place until about noon, Karen and the grand kids went swimming in the pool. This evening we passed the tradition of decorating the Christmas tree to the grandkids. Something their Mom did when she was about 9-10 (decorating grandma and grandpa's tree). Sitting right now watching "Robots" with them.

I am sitting here in the Pacific Northwest by the fireplace in the stick house. Just happened to look outside and guess what. That white stuff is starting to fall, checked the weather and they say next week highs are in the 20's and over nite is 12-18 degrees. I sure wish I was sitting in FL, AZ, or TX right now in the warmer weather.
