Boyds Key West

The wife and I leave Tuesday for Key West, anyone ever stayed at Boyds?
Liked it, disliked it, please share. We have a site that is supposed to be right at the water. Sounds like it is nice.
Be a nice change from Syracuse NY

Keep us posted on this campground. Key West is on my "to do list"... Will probably stay on Big Pine Key since cousin has a place there. Last time I talked to him (Easter) it was in the 80's. In the meantime I can live vicariously!

Ed We just got back from Sugarloaf Key, 19 miles from Key west and had a wonderful time at the Sunburst Florida Keys RV park. Drove past Boyds but did not see inside the park. We never had a day under 85 and the humidity was very high. The air was working overtime during the day trying to keep the 5ver cool. We had a great time in Key West and the wife didn`t want to leave. Check out No Name key which is just off Big Pine Key and go to the No Name pub for a great Grouper Sandwich and fries and wash it down with a Corona!!!We can`t wait to go back to the Keys again.

mark,

Save your money, this place was a dump, we ended up leaving a Day early. The people next to us were displeased as well. First, there is no beach ( well there is, but not really). There water sites are at their marina, ours was right next to the boat ramp. The place really was not that bad, but it is definaly not what you expect for $95 a night. I would suggested looking around elseware down there. We drove by some place on Sugarloaf Key, and I have heard of that campground, might be worht looking into.
