Korea to CA via MI, GA, FL and a long trip

Hello gang!
Bubba-J here, member since July when we got our rig. We drove to Lakeshore RV to pick up our new Outback but when we arrived we decided to change to the Mountaineer. We're very happy with the trailer even though it's a bit heavier than the Outback.

We just moved from Korea (I'm military) and went to GA to pick up our pickup, then made the big travel to get the trailer, then back south for some logistical move items. Departing 17 July and going to FL for some military training, we finally made it to Beale AFB, CA on 27 July. We're in Family Camp waiting for our household goods to arrive from Korea so we can move into housing. We're new to the MOC and hope to hear from you all.

This morning I began the "Quicky Flush install" but the underbody took a bit longer than expected so I'm on hold until after church. I haven't done any other mods yet except for the two 6-volt batteries. Any suggestions?

Welcome home! I was in Korea back in 1964 I'm sure a lot has changed. Thanks for serving your country from a grateful old GI, retired.

Welcome Bubba-J. Thank you for serving our great country. Since you are on the West Coast maybe you can join us for our rally next May at Mt. Shasta. Check out the Western Region thread.
Happy trails.....................

Welcome aboard, Greg and Kyong Hui! Nice rig you have there. Besides the regional rally next year we're having our second annual international rally up near Tahoe/Carson City, NV, in early October. Details for both rallies are in the Rally Around section.

Thanks for telling us about yourselves.
