Deep scratch repair

I have some deep scratches on the cap of my 5th wheel.

One scratch approximately 4 inches long is slightly deeper than the paint and might need to be filled very slightly. Some scratches are scratches in the paint (too deep to buff).

Does anyone have experience repairing or recommend a site with instructions? An rv body shop will charge $1300 for 9 hrs work to repair scratches in a 6 inch circular area.

My guess is that there's a way to repair it not perfectly but not very noticeable. Recommendations appreciated.

Okay at the rally last year, the folks next to us they had a tree branch poke a hole in the side. Mobile tech came out and fixed it in 3-4 hours tops. Tech was proud of his work. Have to admit it looked good. Do not know the price to fix it, but 9 hours sounds like they are milking the job to me.

I'm planning to use this (White Marine-Tex) to try and fill some small gouges in the fiberglass that the PO put there when scraping off the old decals. Maybe it'll work for you too.

West Marine carry gel coat touch up.
I never looked for anything but white but suspect colors available.
Easy to use and it can be worked after drying.
My deep scratches in my boat disappeared.
