The Governor of Florida declared a State of Emergency because of the cold. The low was 20 degrees last night.Locals are huddled in their homes . I had to wear a sweatshirt and long pants this AM. This is the coldest night we have ever spent in this 3400. It was not a pleasant experience. We found the warmest place in the camper is the john. The furnace ran nearly all night to keep it at 70. My shoes that I left in front of the couch were cold to the touch this morning. Oh the coldest place is in the step well. Helen stuffed rugs down there to block the cold. Propane tank empty this AM.. It lasted 10 days....In Florida..near Disney...All weather campers my foot.

It is still 64 at 8:30 PM. I think it was about 75 today, but yesterday it felt hot at 81. Suppose to be somewhat cooler with showers the next few days, which is a relief. You know those of usthat live here yearround. think if it is this warm now, what is it going to be like in a few months.

18 degrees this morning. We broke a record. The temp is supposed to get into the 50's this afternoon and be in the 60's all next week. I dewinterized the trailer yesterday so we can take it on it's maiden voyage this weekend. I froze my ___ off. Myrtle Beach will be nice this weekend. We'll let you know how we make out.

This is ridiculous. It was 37 degrees over night in Miami Beach. 26 In Orlando, 29 Here. Coldest winter on record in many places. The normal temp around here this time of year is mid 70's during the day and mid 50's at night..so it is really cold for the locals.Good news is
that is is returneing to normal in the mid to high 70's this weekend. It was one of the coldest winters on record when we wintered in Az 3 winters ago....why us????

Rich, I know you watch this stuff, so you are well aware that the other day in Cleveland they had over 12 inches of white fluffy scrapable stuff and I hear it came down at a record pace??

Pretty much 0 here last night,

And you don't want to know what our propane bills have been, outrageous is the nicest word I can come up with. Past budget breaking is the reality.

Snow on the deck has not melted in so long I have lost count, it is WEEKS.

This is highly unusual for us. In fact, not sure I have ever seen this in my part of Michigan.

currently 29.7, a regular heat wave.

Slight warming trend up in N. MI coming, but I have some concerns about our closed up house in Bellaire. This was posted on the local news web site yesterday... Gaylord, MI set a record a few days ago: -17° (not wind chill).

We tried to make you stay, we tried hard to warn you, but you just wouldn't take no for an answer....There is still room for you here in the desert, we're saving your space. It isn't that far, you can drive all night and part of a day and get here.......We'll leave the light on for ya.

Robbie,
Thanks for the invite but 33#176 and snowing is not always bad. There is something about being indoors sitting next to the wood stove with a hot cup of coffee watching TV and surfing the net that I find peaceful. Gracyn our Granddaughter is coming over for the day tomorrow. Gracyn's favorite cake is Bananna Nut with Bananna frosting so Grandma Roxanne is baking. Nope, I'm good right here.

John-- That snowblower is suppose to be down on the ground not on the deck to do any good! Hope you have a ramp to get it there! LOL
