I understand that an under inflated tire heats up thus increasing the pressure. Does this increasing heat and increasing psi balance itself out? In other-words if I started at 70psi (10psi under the tires recommended of 80psi) then the heat produced increases the pressure and it causes the pressure to come up to 80psi would the tire continue to heat up or would it then operate at the proper temperature and pressure? Maybe I have too much time on my hands...
I run mine at 75psi and carefully check the tread depth and after 7000 miles we have even wear across the tread, tested with my depth gauge. So far the only tire problem I have ever had was when I ran over a truck mud flap and flattened the two drivers side tires. After having these plugged and patched still no problems.

Grampachet, pressure will increase as they warm and descrease as they cool. Every listing I've seen for tire psi is for tires that are "cold," meaning not been run for awhile (I use overnight as the guide) and probably not in direct sunlight for any length of time as that will add a pound or two.

I run 90psi cold and see about 97-100 after an hour or so running. Tire temps are usually around 90-112 depending on ambient temperatures.

Depends on your weight. Adding your model info to your signature or profile will help you get better answers.

I can’t think of any reason to not run them at 110 pounds. They will run cooler and carry more weight.

Every RV trailer built in the USA provides three references that provides information for OE tires correct inflation pressures. The trailer manufacturer has the sole responsibility for establishing and setting the trailer's recommended cold inflation pressures. The entire tire industry recognizes those inflation pressures as the minimum inflation pressures for that particular vehicle. Then they tell consumers where to look for the correct pressures. 1. The vehicle owner's manual. 2. The federal certification label and 3. On the tire load and inflation placard. The inflation pressure found on the tire sidewall IS NOT a recommendation.

Remember, cold inflation pressures and the procedures for setting them for automotive vehicles differ considerably with the procedures used for RV trailer tires.

And this information comes from where?

The Sailuns are trailer tires, and they have a weight inflation table to go with them. So...........

I run 110 cold leaving the house. I have a TST tire monitoring system measuring pressure and axle temps. Depending on weather/temps the tires can get to 125 on a hot afternoon. Most however run at 115-118.

Weight inflation tables are provided for setting recommended cold inflation pressures. They are also very useful for installers of "plus sized" tires.

My wife prefers the term "Big Boned" to "plus sized".

For maximum safety margin inflate the tires to the maximum cold pressure stated on the sidewall of 80 psi. That is what I do...110 psi for my G rated tires.

A few years ago when about all the tires we get were China Bombs Montana Keystone or Goodyear’s advice was to inflate a few pounds over max pressure because there was less chance of a blowout.
