New Dometic Referigerator Question

Several months ago I had a new Dometic refrigerator installed because the original one died. I have a specific question about the controls. I am running the refer at 4 and it is pretty cool. But then there is that slider thing on the cooling fins that you can move either up or down to help with temp management. The slider thing is where it came as new. Should I drop the setting from 4 to 3 to bring up the temp or move that slider thing?

By the way what setting do most folks use on their refrigerator?

We set our control at 4 normally but when it is hot we movd it fo 5. The slider on the fin is all the way up.

If it came with a manual, I'd check it out. If not, I'd call Dometic.

We set our control on 6 and the slider on the fin we keep in the middle.
