WEll he`s right, You could have 45 campers in a row and the one guy that pulls in and turns on the outside stereo very loud before he even unhooks, have large constantly barking dogs, have 3 kids that are running around very late making all kinds of noise, they will be younger people every time and the only thing you will remember about the campground.

I don't think that has ever happened to us in our many years of camping unless it was us when we were younger..

We are not full timers or even close to it. I will be 55 this summer and we have RV'ed since before our second child was born. She is almost 23 and we have had good times on most of our camping trips. I will say that I have seen as many younger campers just having a good time and not making anyone else annoyed as I have seen older campers doing the same. I think it is luck of the draw as to who you end up with. I personally think that the under 60 crowd is just fine. Just don't pull into camp leave your dog inside or outside and take off leaving the rest of us to hear it bark non stop.
I think if you can afford to be retired at under 60 you have done well or had successfull loving parents. Lots of people myself included have worked hard and paid into their retirement before their day to day living. That way we can enjoy our retirement.

Many of us joined the MOC at a "younger" age. We were in our 40's, got to hang around with the "veteran" RVers and now we are, in our early 60's, the middle aged RVer's. Now we're meeting people in their 40's and the veteran RVer's that we met years ago are in their late 60's and 70's. We travel a lot with people who are older than us - in years. Certainly not in spirit. We enjoy spending time with people of all ages. We got to learn from the retired and recently retired before we even got close. My recommendation is to befriend people with common interests, regardless of age. It can be a symbiotic relationship. Just my two cents worth.
