Replacing squirrel damaged propane hose

I am replacing the flexible rubber propane hose in the kitchen slide of a 2006 3400RL due to squirrel damage. The hose I removed is a 6ft 350 psi hose with a 3/8 inch connector on one end with a 1/2 inch connector on the other. I would like to replace it with a 6ft 75psi steel braided covered hose with 3/8 inch connectors on both ends. I would use a 3/8 to 1/2 inch adapter on the 1/2 inch end. My concern is using the 75 psi hose to replace the 350 psi one. Isn't everything after the propane tank requlator low pressure? Any help would be appreciated.

Shouldn't be a problem unless the regulator fails in such a way as to supply full pressure to the system. Don't think I'd do it, but it should work. Is the 75 psi hose rated for propane use?

Yes, according to the seller (Great Deal Supply on ebay) it is designed for propane use. I received the hose and am not real comfortable with what I see. It is a smaller diameter than the 350psi hose I replaced. That wouldn't bother me so much because a 75psi may be smaller, but I look at the inside diameter of the 3/8 connector going into the hose and it looks smaller that the inside diameter of the 350psi hose.
