Repairing fake wood trim and cabinet

I have two places where the 'wood look' finish in our RV is damaged. One from a good scratch and the other from velcro tape that the previous owner had applied to the door trim on the washer/dryer closet.

Does anyone have any suggestions for fixing or minimizing the damage?

Thanks for any help!

They make wood colored markers and Crayons, and with them you can do a pretty good job covering up blemishes.

When I worked in a SOB RV factory cabinet shop, they used colored crayons from lumber yard to cover mistakes

Try brown paste shoe polish in an out of way place and see how it looks. Thats what I use for the nicks on the "wood look" material. It doesn't work on the foam facia above the slides tho. Bill

The press-board trim with the adhesive wood grain laminate can be ordered and installed if you have a few woodworking tools and want to go that far. I reconfigured my entertainment center in my 2980RL a few years back and ordered a bit of the trim boards from the dealer. A Kreg tool to assemble it all back came in handy.

Thank you for all of your suggestions! The 2 places are small so I bet the crayon idea would be perfect. Thanks again!
