Upper Kitchen Cabinet Sagging

On our 3400 RL, the 2 door upper cabinet over the island is pulling down from the ceiling at the end.
Measuring the cabinet from the counter top at the wall end and at the outer end. The outer end is 1 1/4" lower.
Tighten all the screws inside the cabinet.
Any suggestion on repairing or supporting the end of the cabinet?
Thanks
E. Sven

I had a similiar problem with an overhead cabinent. I lugged a 1x2 piece into the cabinet at the top, and then used that piece to support two toggle bolts for added support. That worked for us.

Just wondering if when it was originally installed did they miss the metal roof joists a little or the weight of the contents eventually worked the screws loose. Possibly try moving and re drilling the screws. I just put up track lighting over the island and used a Home Depot stud finder, the electronic one which now casts less than $20. It was invaluable in finding anchor points. Anyhow, good luck with your fix.

used my see-snake (30" flexible tube with a camera) today and went above the ceiling and looked at the area where the cabinet attaches to the roof rafter.
The screw is pulled right out of the rafter.
I jacked up the end of the cabinet to make it level and made a support out of some oak boards at the shop and made a support.
Next time at HD or Lowe's going to get a oak spindle and cut a notch in the top to support the end board and rest on the counter.
Don't trust adding more screws into the very thin metal of the rafter.
Thanks for suggestions

Good idea re the oak spindle! These units really get bounced around on the road.

I feel safer with the post under the end of the cabinet, we travel from NH to AZ and back each year (6500 miles)and not all on interstates, well some secondary roads are smoother then some interstates.
