Front Timberns

Looking for some help here with a question. I have Timberns in the front of my truck, since I sued to snow plow. I no longer low. The timberns are always in constant contact with my front axle. When I plowed, I just dealt with it, now that I dont, I am wondering if being in constant contact with the front axle makes for a rougher ride? Should I remove them and go back to the factory bumpers? Really have no additional weight in the front anymore...thoughts?

I can't tell you about front Timbrens, but I put rear Timbrens in my previous truck (F-150). I ended up removing them and going back to the factory bump stops because of the constant jouncing I would get going over any sort of raised surface. If I were you, I'd remove them. Even if you adjusted them to the point where they aren't in contact, they'll still make contact over bumps far too often to be comfortable. They are good at supporting heavy loads, but just aren't designed well for unloaded trucks imho.
