registration

I have heard that you can register your truck and rv in other states and save some money. has anyone done that on this forum and what is the process and which states , I heard Montana, South Dakota and maybe Texas. I,m about ready to buy a used unit. Thanks

You need to have a reason to claim residency in that other state. If you can't prove residency and the state you reside in is one that cares then you would be liable for fines and penalties. I'm not sure how common it is, but a lot of folks used to register class A's as an llc in Montana and a bunch of states jumped on that and it isn't done anymore.

I can tell you with complete confidence, you do not want to register anything in California

I want to know how 7 people including 5 adults can live in one RV!!!!!!!!!!! We have to be organized when we have a couple stay with us for a week! And our table only sits 4 people, so there is that too.
I wouldn't try it with more than 4 people (and a bigger rv).
