AC question...
AC is cooling fine. But I noticed it often shuts down after a cooling cycle, then comes back on again almost immediately. Anybody know what this is all about? Thx...

AC question
Mine does the same when I have it set to "Auto"...the bedroom and the living room unit, no matter what number degrees I set it to...on and off...on and off. It was not doing what I wanted it to do.
We like to sleep COLD. The other night I set the bedroom unit it to "High" with the degrees set on 62 - and we froze! I think I left the living room unit on "Auto" (??? Hmmm - now I don't remember) with a temp setting of only 65 degrees...you know - saving the planet and all.
Several years ago when we bought a Jayco, the service guy told us to "just put the AC on high and crank it down as cold as it will go." The same theory seemed to work for us the other night!

Both of mine do the same thing in auto mod, it modulates between high and low speed depending on demand.

That does sound like it might be what it's doing. The fan speed is different each time.

This is correct in Auto Mode the Fan speed will adjust the shutting down you are hearing is when the fan is going from Hi to Lo or Lo to High. If the unit is not satisfing the thermostat I beleive it is 3 degrees the unit will auto shift to high fan.Example thermostat set at 72 room temp 75 fan will be on high when room temp drops to 74 it will shift to lo fan.So you can get in that sweet spot where it is constantly shifting speeds. So leaving on Hign will solve the problem

We have both our units set on auto and timed to engage at different times front and rear. Been that way since about day one. We have not had any kind of issue and the units work fine. Helen set them up and I do not know how she did it she probably read the instruction manual. She does things like that.

I leave both units in "auto". As long as they cool the rig and don't break, I don't pay attention.
