Interesting. Another enterprising way to rip people off.

Scott this has been out for nearly three years. It first came out back in 2013 and it was from one store and one crooked clerk. That specific clerk was arrested convicted. It is still a good idea to check your receipts whenever one uses their credit/debit cards at any store, restaurant or any where you purchase something and you can get cash back. I was told by a manager at Walmart that this cannot happen anymore since the clerks do not have access to the cash back buttons but I still don't trust his statement. I always check our receipts and if there is something wrong with it I will ask to speak to a manager. So far no problems but it's always good to check them and even check your statement from the credit card company or from your bank monthly statement.
Here locally in the Omaha area the bad guys are getting into gas pumps somehow and putting credit/debit card readers or copiers, reading the cards and making new ones up and using them to purchase goods. We have all been warned about this and they are also trying to use them on ATMs. To bad honest people can't have an easy life like the good old days! LOL

Definitely more worried about Congress than this happening.
