Moving In

Well, we finally are officially Texans - driver's license and all. Our house in Mukwonago, Wisconsin sold and we need to be out before October 24th, so we'll be heading up next weekend to do the final move and put our things into storage until our home in Colorado is finished. They start framing it on Monday. Seeing the troubles some of our fellow MOCers are having, we almost feel guilty with our good fortune to have a job with a great company like Caterpillar and be seeing our dream home built for the future. If any of you are welders, we do have openings in Kilgore, Texas. We sure enjoyed seeing many of our MOC friends at the fall rally and hope to meet some of our Texan MOCers down here. We have a seasonal site at Lake Palestine right now right on the water.

Great news, continued best of luck, prayers for safe rides on those trips back and forth. Can't wait to see some photos of that new home!

Congratulations on your move and everything happening in your life. Ditto on working for Caterpillar. i spent 37 years there full time and still work one day a week consulting the torque converter design group when we are in town which won't be much longer. The trees turning says it's time to head south.
