Hello folks. We have checked out the 3750 and love the floorplan. Had concerns regarding storage but recent posts on MOC show its not an issue, and knocking noggins on slides will happen on mine, yours, and theirs!! Our MAJOR concern was the counter space. For such a nice setup, seems to be no counter space - especially for family. By time you get coffee pot and toaster on the counter, your done. How is it REALLY working for you folks.

Thanks and have a great holiday season.

The floor plan is great. We use the flip up counter extension and a wooden stove topper to maximize the counter space. DW uses the microwave and the microwave convection feature so it limits the use of the stove. The dining room table is also close by. We recently had a dinner party for 7 and made everything work. The gals fed the guys and then the guys fed the girls. We had chili and stew and did not want to eat in the Man Cave (living room). We had fun. DW has a toaster, coffee maker, and a seal-a-meal (behind the burners) on the counter. We are planning to install the toaster and coffee maker under the counter to make more space.

The counter extension is a definite benefit, but in addition to that, the sink covers also free up a lot of counter space during the cooking and prep phase of dinner. DW utilizes all of the available counter space and did not have a problem. She cooked Thanksgiving dinner for 8 with no problem.

We were part of the eight and witnessed it first hand. Bingo is right about the counter space. It was amazing how much food Cathy had laid out for all. That included all the pies she had cooked and used the table as an area to put deserts.

If you are interested in more countertop space check this out. We carry two of these tables with us and they come in very handy.

We got ours at Costco.
