No Closet!

My wife and I were at the Montana dealer's in Bangor, Maine the other day. We were impressed with the spaciousness of the 3605 10th anniversary. Until we realized that there was no closet! The only place to hang your hat in the entire coach is in the bedroom, behind the sliding mirrors. Other than that, we think that the 3605 is beautiful.

You could always mount a hat rack? I mounted a rack in the bedroom to hang jeans on, etc. at night. A coat closet is nice, though.

That would now be a deal breaker for us. Like Steve said the only solution would be to mount a rack or some hooks perhaps near the door to take care of those items. That's what we did in our previous 2955 model, now having had a closet at the door in our 3400 we could not see being without one!

Yup. Our 3000RK has a closet (though admittedly not as deep as the one in the 3400RL), and we use it all a the time. It's convenient to "hang stuff", but it also "hides stuff"!

You're right. We just took delivery of our new 3605 a couple of weeks ago and used it last weekend (May 10-11) for the first time. Being early in the season we did bring light jackets and I do miss having place to hang them right when you come in the door... Other than that, we love the 3605 and will adapt to using the closet in the bedroom. It's a small price to pay for such a great floorplan otherwise.

That is one of the things that put us off the 3605 too. It has many nice features, but the lack of closet space is a big negative. The small kitchen sinks did not impress us either.

One day Keystone will realize that they need to bring back the 3670RL floor plan. We feel that our '05 has everything that we want, and until someone comes up with an equivalent, we will stick with the one we have.

Don't wear hats.
We looked at the 3605 at the Tampa RV show this past January and fell in love with it. We worked a deal to the point that all we needed to do was put down a deposit. Everything was a done deal, just needed a $1,000 deposit but because our 3485 was less than a year old we passed on getting one.
We again looked at the 3605 this past week at Lazydays and renewed our love affair. (For you Florida folks, Lazydays is now a Montana, Big Sky dealer?)
Yes the 3485 is a great floorplan and YES we do love our 3485 but we are seriously considering the 3605 being part of our lifestyle in the not so distant future. Maybe at the 2009 Tampa RV Show.

Glenn,
That's how it went with us too except we finally put down the deposit and went through with it. Like I said, we love the 3605 so far. So much room and the bathroom is awesome. I had the rig home for 1 day and the first thing I did was rip out the roof vent in the bedroom and put in a Fantastic Fan (6600) with the remote. Now she has 3 Fantastic Fans. We really liked our 3600RE but LOVE the 3605....Other than not having a front closet, we are very pleased with the floorplan.
