Positive post for Reserve America

Sorry, correction made on edit... I accidentally left out part of the post to begin with!
***************

Yesterday I made reservations for a weekend getaway at Carter Caves State resort Park not far from us here in KY. This was going to be for the weekend of May 9th.

I used Reserve America for the convenience of setting everything up online. A few minutes after making the reservation I realized "Oh No!" we have something going on that weekend so I made reservations for the following weekend of May 16th, then canceled the first reservations I made. The policy for canceling reservations is plainly listed on their web site of which I did agree to before I made them to begin with. The two night stay was going to cost $48.00 and upon canceling I was only refunded VIA the internet $14.00 of which due to their policy I had to forfeit the first night plus a $10.00 cancellation fee leaving me immediately out $34.00. I had the actual reservation for less than an hour. However, upon calling customer service today and explaining the situation I was refunded the remaining loss.

Thank you Costumer Service for your cooperation!

Thank you. It's nice to know that there are human beings in this world that do care, and the person you dealt with is one of them. That gesture of good will is going to benefit by word of mouth, and this forum.

I have also found the phone agents to be very nice and booking is easy for MA and NH state parks. I'm glad you had the same!
