5 new tires on the way from Tireco

Pretty nice folks, I'll get them mounted and balanced about a mile away, put them on myself and be as happy as a clam....
Just hope they hold air for a while.

Tires seem to be the never ending battle for me...this time we went with the national warranty - we'll see how that one works out.
Third set in four years here, and I don't even have the 5'er...
I'm trying slowing down, storage on wood, etc. Those trailers are just plain hard on them.

Best of luck with this set Ozz!

Thanks, Linda and Walt.
Ozzie, I think all of us struggle with the tire deal. Thank you, my friend.

Bobby, Tireco bought me 4 new tires after I lost two from Alaska. I bought 4 new from Les Schwab in Washington. They picked them up and I had to stay on them but I got a settlement about 3 mos later. I understand they are doing better now. If they give you the opportunity to buy your own or accept 4 from them I would buy my own and submit bill for reimbursement. You may end up with a better set of tires, but may have to supplement their payment a bit.

They could not have been nicer, or made the process easier. You will have no problem, Phil is right, they will allow more than one option, I'm the old "Bird in the hand type" so I took the tires in 3 days option.

You have to ship the old ones back OZZ? Y'all got me scared. I plan to move about a half mile down the runway tomorrow. Hope I don't blow one out on that trip!

They asked if I still had the bad tire, I think it would have been Ok if not. I will leave them at the tire changing place, they take care of all shipping and costs.
Good luck!

Thanks all. I dont know if I like the LT tires I had to buy friday. Still trying to decide what to do. This may sound odd but I can tell a diference in the way these pull it is harder to pull with these. Ozz do I understand you are going to put the ones they send on. I really would like to have a set of ST tires on my RV. just thinking!!!!. bobby
