Laundryboy,

The doors don't swing on the new 3500. They slide, so there is not interference with the furniture.

I may be the only one that does this, but I have 1 '05 3500rl and whenever we are staying for more than a few days, we switch our couch with the recliners. We have the couch on those moving pads so it moves easily.

When we leave, we have to move them back because the slides won't come in - the couch is too wide.

This gives us a much better tv viewing angle, and also, the room seems bigger because the recliners aren't sticking so far into the room.

Just me.

Last November I said that we were ready to order our camper within the week...well the holidays got the best of us and it wasn't until last week that we decided to resume our search.

Well, low and behold - our local dealer had a 3500RL being delivered the next day. It arrived, and it had some options that I wasn't quite sure of, so I used this forum (through searches of existing posts) and I was able to find out what I needed with the options it came with. I am the type of buyer that likes to see exactly what I am buying, I became a little concerned with ordering a camper due to some of the posts that I have read that indicate that some things can change without notice.

I am very happy to report that we bought it yesterday!!! Yipee!!

We will wait until April (and the warmer weather in new england) to take delivery, but it is ours...and its perfect!!!

Thanks to everyone that contributes to this forum!!

Congrats on your new 3500RL! I hope it provides you as many trouble free miles as my coach has provided me.

Congrats! I'm very satisfied with mine. It has done me very well through all the sub-below temps we had this winter. Good Luck to you!

Congratulations on your new Monty. Keep us informed of your trips after you pick that baby up. This is a tough time of year, waiting for the weather to stay warm. Enjoy!

JR, welcome to the forum. Have you considered a Coleman sir bed? We us them at out stick house for when unexpected guests arrive. They are quick and comfortable and easy to store after deflated. If you go that route be sure to get the one with the electric pump. It really makes inflation/deflation easy.

Welcome to the forum JR, and congrats on the new Monty!!

BigBob, I have the same plan for when I get to the CG this spring. I was concerned because my SOB sofa faced the road in front of my site, so I could see my front yard. With the Monty, my sofa faces the "back yard". So, I decided I would switch the sofa and recliners...problem solved:-)

Garin,

We bought a Coleman air bed and I'm hoping to see if it can just lay on the couch matress and tie it down when we fold it up. Kind of a Po-Boy airbed.

Our inflater is rechargeable. Didn't even think about it, but I hope the battery stays in reasonably good shape through limited use and charging.
