Jet engine AC

I’ve had my Montana now for three seasons. The “whisper quiet AC” sounds like a jet engine. Most of it is the sound of the air rushing from the vents. Is there a way to quiet it down? Doesn’t matter whether it’s on high or low.

These are pretty quiet compared to my last RV.

If it's the supply vents making the noise try cutting out everyother fin. Many of us have done that for better air flow and the only noise we hear is from the unit it'self.

I might try that in the living rightroom (ours is elevated) area that’s where we are the closest to the ceiling so closest to the unit and the vents.

Just a thought, on mine I found that several of the vents were protruding into the duct about an inch or more above the styrofoam. I cut them down and used foil tape to seal them around the duct opening and that quieted them down tremendously. I also taped the ones that did not protrude. Made a huge difference in the air flow.
