First Ride on the Interstate
I took the camper down to Camping World the other week and experienced something that I hadn’t with our previous 5th Wheel. Interstate 295 here in New Jersey is not the best to say the least and on much of my trip, it was concrete slabs. These concrete slabs, from one to the other, make you go bouncy bounce down the road. Cool at first; not after mile two and there on.
One thing that just about scared the crap out of me was this back and forth jolting while on the go pedal, on an incline, going over these wonderful concrete slabs called an Interstate. Not really sure what the deal was but it would immediately stop after I unglued my shoe from the go pedal.
Has anyone else experienced this type of episode with their Montana? I thinking it has something to do with weight distribution or the oscillating motion caused by the concrete slabs. I did check the truck and trailer out from top to bottom and could not find anything wrong.
Thanks in advance for any information.
