Motion lights?

Am I correct in assuming the oval lights in the closet and storage area,
Turn on and off with motion?

They appear to have a sensor on them.

Yes, and the ones in the basement.

You still have the option to manually turn them off.

That's kind of a dumb design. So you got a compartment door open all day and every time you go near it the light comes on when you don't need it unless of course you turn it off.

Whatever did we do without all of these modern inconveniences? If the batteries in your tv remote control go dead, you have to walk ALL the way to the junk drawer to get new batteries. Totally inconceivable. They should have batteries that last indefinitely by now. (Sarcasm)

I thought so. Mine do not work.
Actually it is more of a necessity, given the design of the pantry (I know I said closet), I can barely reach the switch on the light! and I'm 6' tall. Same with the storage compartment. When I lift the door I want the light on. If you don't, close the door or turn the light to off.

Sure wish less emphasis by keystone on bells and whistles and more on overall build quality.

If you look at the on/off /on switch, one position has a single hash mark, the other has 2 hash marks. On the ones in our 3811, anyway, the single hash mark is on constantly, the 2 hash mark is motion sensing. In the center is off all the time.

I turn ours off when boondocking. They use power for the sensor even when not lit. I wish I could turn the one in the control center off, annoying glare.

Really nice feature. I went ahead and installed a rechargeable soft motion detector light in the bathroom.
