Cracking plastic bottom of bedroom slide
On the bottom of our bedroom slide there is a plastic type of black material. I just noticed that there are cracks in the plastic material. I put gorilla tape over
the cracks to keep them from spreading. i’m thinking of taking out the cracked pieces of plastic and then filling those spots with plastic auto body filler.
Has anyone noticed the same types of cracks in the plastic, and if so did you repair them and if so what seems to work well.
Appreciate your thoughts.

Remember folks on the forum mentioning the cracks, but can't remember what was done. Sorry.

I got some of that material from our dealer, and then put off fixing it until we traded the rig a month or two later. The material wasn't all that expensive, but fixing it by trading the rig was

I purchased a 2011 3455sa with those cracks. At first I had the dealer in writing state that they would fix them. When I found out the entire slide has to come out to fix it I decided that more problems could result from the fix, so I asked to be reimbursed for the repair which they did. My cracks are currently stapled every inch and covered with clear silicone.
Since the issue is under the slide and out of the weather, I keep an eye on it but don't worry too much about it. To be honest, I would bet that even after it was fixed the cracks would just happen again.

I just noticed mine is starting to buckle, but no cracks. Yet. Still better than the cheap “poly tarp” KRAP they put on the bottom of the living room and kitchen slides; that stuff is beginning to wear through. More Keystone “quality”.

Never ever take DW to pick up or drop off rig for repairs. I have ended up with 3 new rigs that way.

Same issue here. Dealer pulled it down partially and re-glued it with a better, state of the art, super million dollar epoxy that would solve any problem. 2 months later it looks wavy all over again. But it hasn’t gotten any worse. I’m just keeping an eye on it.

black plastic
I just finished replacing that black plastic junk with a sheet of 1/8 lexan. I just jacked to slide up a little and put 3/4 blocks under the wood trim on the inside and removed the old plastic, the carpet is stapeled under the front end with staple and i cut them loose with a sawsall and pulled the panel out and put in the lexan with 3m spray contact cement. so far so good looks great.

We have a 2015 - HC-353RL. Plastic on bottom of our bedroom slide is cracked also. Looking into options to repair. The cracks currently are not in the area of the rollers.
As I was typing, a thought, has anyone tried a plastic welder to reseal and stop the cracks? I am going to look into this!

I have heard of a few cases where people had it repaired and it just came back. Ours has been all cracked up since I've owned it. I don't worry about it too much since it's never exposed to the weather. When the slide is in of course it won't get wet and when you are camping it is underneath so it shouldn't get wet there either
