I have been away from the internet. My mother had two strokes last week and I've been on the East Coast of FL. She is about as bad off as person can be after a stroke. I'll be spending a lot of time driving back and forth across the state for awhile trying to help my father deal with this and "insurance" She has Medicare with Humana supplemental and what a mess. In the hospital she had medicare and a doctor we liked. Now that they have moved her to Nursing/Rehab she has been switched to Humana and will be asigned another doctor. They have given her 6 days to "rehab" and then they say no more pay from them. Our medicare doctors told us we are really going to have to "fight" Humana. Right now she cannot speak, walk, swallow food and has a very limited grip on reality. It's awful.
I am heading back over tomorrow morning. I have caught up on all your posts and looked at Rob's neat bike rack. I'll be checking back in whenever I have the opportunity.
