New Floor Plans?
I was looking at the Montana site today, and noticed there are two new floor plans, the 3150RL and the 3455SA. The 3455 has a 40" lift TV which eliminated the desk area. No specifications available on either one.
Also noticed that the small closet in the bedroom slide that our 3465 and other models have is gone. I really like the small closet, it is big enough for my clothes and being tall I don't like going to the large closet.
The 2980RL and 3500RL appear to be discontinued. They are still listed on the specification page, but not on the floor plan page.
I am glad to see that even though RV are sales down (sales are way past down), Keystone is developing new models. I would be very disappointed to have the Montana line disappear.

A dealer called us over the weekend and said that he was notified that one of the new floor plans are the front livingroom that they discontinued years ago. I think that is the other floor plan you did not see. The living room would be up stairs where the bedroom is and a wood banister around it. We saw one of those years ago and loved it. Looked around for one when we bought our Montana and no one made them anymore. Since hearing the news really wonder if we would like it or not. I think it would have it's pro's and con's like anything else. No big window for view since your bedroom would be in the rear. Definitely something to see when it comes back out.

Front livingrooms have 2 sofas. They hide the slide mechanism under the sofas. Recliners are not an option.

When we started to look at Montana's back in 04 the front living room model was our choice. By the time we got aound to buying they had discontinued that floorplan... Hope they have one at the Tampa RV show.We would be interested????

Our 2004 3655FL has one sofa and two recliners. We removed one recliner. BTW there is another unit like ours here in the park.

Yes,
Keystone front living room is back. We recently sold our Mountaineer and were close to ordering a Big Sky when we heard the front living room is back. The Everest site has the first floorplan and video. The dealer expects to see a Montana version for FY09 as well. At the moment, they do not expect a Big Sky front Living Room. We are waiting for more information on the Montana, but based on what we have seen from the Everest, we are sold on this floorplan.

I would look into another one. We really like ours, and had settled on a 3500 if we ever decided to trade. Now we may wait and see what '09 brings.

I'm not seeing the front living room - is it not on the website yet?

Me either, but I did look at the one they are working on for the Everest line. Hopefully the Montana folks do a similar one for us later this year.

I would like to see a front living room, although I'm not sure it would fit our lifestyls. We really like the openess of the rear living room and kitchen in the 3400, besides, me thinks I have overbuilt the one I have. Will be many years to amortize this one. If we make it to Tampa for the show, will have to take a look though....

We were admiring the forward living room in a Big Sky back in 2003. It had an open feeling like a tri-level home (only in reverse). I just remember standing in the entry looking up at the couches and fireplace/entertainment center up top with a small railing, and it just looked cozy-liveable.
Had we been in the market for the larger unit then, we might have towed that Big Sky home.

I'd love to see the front living room too. We will be at the RV show and I hope they have all the new floor plans there. We are planning on retiring in 14 months and hitting the road. How our adventures work out will determine if we are going to upgrade and full time. It all sounds good on paper, but gotta see what it's really like. I do love seeing the new stuff though. Joanie

With the 3685 it has couches on both sides that are long enough for a 6'2" guy like me to stretch out and take a nap during the day. There are plenty of windows to see out of and siting up higher looking out the windows allows for some pretty cool views. The only downside we have found is there isn't as much outside storage space for the bigger things.
