Gray tank valve open/closed

When using washing machine and you think the grey tank valve is open make darn sure you're right. Slight mess if you're wrong plus DW wasn't amused.

On our 3750 the washer drain went straight to dump line, no tanks

Our 3750 goes straight to sewer outlet. Found out the hard way! Roof vent and drain backup. Yes it was a beautiful day filled with wonder...then the rain began to fall....

Don't know why they can't build these things the same way. Our 3900 drained straight out the sewer. At least that is what we were told and we never checked it. Our Big Sky drains into the tank. We have never used the washer unless the valve is open.

Both our06 3400 and this 13 3401 BS empty straight out to the sewer line.

The lesson is don't believe anything the dealer/manufacturer tells you and don't believe what the sticker above the washer/dryer prep says. Find out for yourself!!!

Just be glad some screwball didn't plumb it to the black tank.

On ours there is a sticker next to the washer drain that states "Washer drains straight into the drain pipes and not the tanks" WRONG!! Found out while using it drains into the bathroom grey tank as it overflowed into the camper! What a mess that was!! We were not happy. Sent a picture of the sticker and explanation to Keystone and all they said was "Sorry"!

Ours drains straight to the sewer but that doesn't mean I'm smart enough to open the external knife every time, oops. Wife always asks "Is it open" when we finishing hooking up.
