We had the same issue a while back. You will need to loosen up the strip and slide the skirt back under (first removing the rubber gasket on the outside.
To get the gasket back in you will need to lube up the gasket with soapy water and a laminate roller. Have fun...it took me most of the afternoon to get the gasket back in place...taking a few brew breaks so I would calm down and have a meltdown over the gasket!
