Body Spa/Shut Off ???

Hello,

We just purchased the Body Spa to replace the shower head in our Monty. Many reported that it was the best thing since sliced bread, so of course I had to have it! Upon looking at it and reading the instructions, I see no way to shut off the water flow as you are showering. I like to shut it off at the head and maintain the water temp setting to save on hot water as well as filling the waste tank too quickly (not as big of a concern with full hook up) in between shampoo and conditioning. Turning the water on/off and readjusting the temp is a pain in the you know what!

Is there a shut off on the Body Spa by Oxygenics 100 series? I am only seeing a flow adjustment, but it says it will not stop flow completely. Am I missing something? How long of a shower can one take before using up the hot water? I am contemplating returning it and getting a regular head with the on/off button.

Thanks everyone in advance!

Sue

Sue,

I believe that little adjustment will completely shut off the valve. It's the same one that you can adjust the spray with. I believe it is on the bottom of the hose, but I don't have my Monty here right now. I think it's the flow adjustment you refer to and although I might be wrong I believe it completely shuts mine off, or at least just to a dripple.

Thanks! I can handle dribble! Our Monty has been at the dealer for the past 3 weeks for warranty work, we get it back on Thursday just in time for a Memorial Day weekend trip! Can't wait!!!!

Our replacement shower head doesn't shut off. I kept my original shower head with the shut off for boondocking. I just swap them out based on whether or not we have a water supply and sewer.
