2012 remote control programming

Does anyone know how to re-program the unit remote?

Are you referring to the handheld remote to run the hydraulics, open/close the awning, and such? I don't know what your problem is but the remote is pretty simple. The smarts are in the control box in the front compartment. There is a button on the control box that you push to synchronize the remote and the brain.

I have a 2012 and have replaced the remote a couple of times. It has been a while, but I am pretty sure it was quick and easy. Let me know if you need more details.

The remote systems on these 2012 rigs was made by GAMA Electronics. The program button referred to in the link below is on the receiver mounted on the ceiling of your front compartment. I never had to do this as we threw the remote in a drawer because it wasn't worth the hassle using it, and only found it again last year while searching for something else.

I find the remote is very useful when cleaning the main awning. If awning needs a good cleaning I find it is easier if the fabric is on the roll tube or very close. I get a step ladder and my remote so I can roll out about one foot of awning at a time. The tube then acts as a backer for the scrubbing.

Use mine every time we go camping. Landing gear while leveling. Landing gear when hooking up. Stabilizers. Awning while watching for obstacles.
I'm still looking for the actual procedure to pair the remotes. As I remember you press the button on the panel in the front compartment and then quickly press one of the remotes buttons.

The procedure for pairing is in that PDF that Bob linked to. Basically it is:

1. Locate the pushbutton labeled "PROGRAM" on the receiver. Press and hold this button until the red LED next to
the program button illuminates (approximately 5 seconds). The receiver is now in the transmitter program mode.
Release the pushbutton. At this point all previously programmed transmitter addresses are erased from the
receiver's memory.
2. Press any button on the keyfob transmitter and verify that the red LED on the receiver extinguishes and then
illuminates (blinks once). Release the button.

Thanks to all for the help. Re-sychronized the remote to the transmitter in the front and now all works. Thanks again for all the help!
