Has anyone put an ice maker in a Norcold 1210 4 door refrigerator? What did it take other than ordering the parts?

Biggest effort in adding an icemaker to any refrigerator is the water line hookup.

I looked at doing that to our 1210 but decided that a portable maker would work easier and that what we went with. Got one from CW stainless steel and makes 35 lbs a day as long as you keep feeding it water, but that is easy with a pitcher. Trying to run water to a slide is a big problem, you need a flexible hose and you need to make sure it doesnt get pinched or cut during opening and closing and invariably if it does bust it will be just after you go out to dinner and are hooked to city water...

X2 on that. Couldn't figure out a way I felt good about the hook up.
