Please set aside two or three 90 min spaces for crafts in schedule, if possible. I would like to post for those wishing to present--- may I do so and how do I "plug in" to begin the thread under the Rally. Thanks, Susan DeWitt (Crafts Coord)

As a newbie....first MOC rally.....I wished I had known that I needed to sign up for tours and driving class thru this forum site. I've been watching for the sign up for the rally and got that done, but had no idea to watch for sign ups for tours and classes! I thought we would have the opportunity to sign up for these tours and classes when we arrived as part of the rally process.....so, now I have missed out on the ladies driving class and the 15 min. tech support visit and possibly the Montana Factory tour! Please let folks know this process of the rally, so we know to keep going back to the forum for this type of info....I'm back on the forum now to get the schedule of events before we head out, but was very much surprised about missing out on all the sign ups in the past couple of weeks.....anyway a big thank you to all the volunteers and wagon masters for your hard work, but just wanted to let you all know what I experienced. We are looking forward to the rally and meeting everyone....guess I'll have to go the following year to get into those other classes and tours....live and learn! Thanks for listening, Marlene Carty

Hi Marlene,
Sorry for your inconvenience. The Wagon Masters will review the announcements and see if we can improve on that. Point well taken. We will also get with the coordinators and see what we can do to assist you to minimize your missing out on the events. The events to sign up for are:
The 15 minute tech tour
The Amish Dinner
The MORryde factory tour
The Keystone factory tour (plant 4 is Montana, Plant 17 is High Country)
The Keystone Service tour
The Potluck meals (make sure you sign up for what you are bringing)
The rest of the events, you have to review the schedule and determine what to attend.
Please let us know if there is anything else we can do. Thanks for your note.
Best Regards

Marlene-- If you check the posting by the coordinator for the Factory tours you will see only about four of the time slots are filled. I'm pretty sure you can get in on one of the tours yet. Post on the factory tour thread and see if Ron A will have a slot you can get into on. See you at the Rally!

Hi.....I did ask for a 3:30 or 4pm slot for the Montana Plant #4 tour, but I haven't heard back from him yet. Hope we can squeeze into one of them....thanks!
Correction to my statement above.......I found our name on the list for the Montana Plant #4 tour....I see that we have to go back to the original thread of each coordinator to see if our name has been added....still learning the rally process....thanks so much for your help!!! So looking forward to this rally and meeting everyone! Marlene Carty

Thanks so much for the reply.....looks like we are in for the Amish dinner and I'm in for the Ladies Meet and Greet....not sure about the Montana Plant #4 or MORryde Factory Tour. George is working on getting us scheduled for the 15 min. tech visit....I soooo appreciate your follow-up with us....sorry for the inconvenience too! Marlene Carty

Marlene,
You have been registered for both the MORryde and factory tour.

Just wondering, will you all be posting directions to the rally, i.e. What gate to use, where to register, etc. Anxiously waiting for our first rally.
Thanks,
Ed Phillips

The website for the Elkhart County 4H Fairgrounds has a lot of information on driving directions.

Please use the main gate (GATE 2) for entrance to the Fairgrounds. This will take you right to the office for check-in and the site escorts will be close by to guide you to your site.
Registration is in the "large tent".
Also, be sure to go to the "2017 Annual North American Fall Rally" topic on the "Forum" and check out all the postings for the activities you can sign up for. Even though some activities are full we will try to work you in so don't get left out, sign up today!

Which one is the main gate (GATE 2)? The Elkhart County Fairgrounds website give directions to "CR 36 South Gate" and "CR 34 Gates".
Thanks

Gate 2 is the main gate, it has an electric billboard welcoming you.

Bill and I are here at the Fairgrounds. The road across the railroad tracks only has Eastbound traffic on Monroe. It will not be a problem in arriving, to the fairgrounds, but to go back into town to go to Walmart, you'll have to take an alternate detour road.
