Congratulations Rich & Helen on your new 3400!
I attended a meeting in Elyria back in March. Parked the Monty behind the Nazarene Church there. Have just realized that we were probably only a couple of miles apart. Had I known at the time maybe could have gotten some towing lessons from Helen for my wife Ellen? Enjoy!
Stiles Watson, It appears that I am not the only person awake at 4 AM!

Byron, Stiles is in Hong Kong so it's probably 6 PM where he is! But, never fear, there are many night owls/early risers on this forum. You're seldom alone!

If it was Elyria you were real close. There is also one here in N. Ridgeville, Ohio just up the street.

Helen and Rich,
Congrats on the new unit! Happy camping. Where is the maiden voyage planned? We slept in our driveway the night we brought ours home! Enjoy!

Rich & Helen-
Congratulations on the new unit. We have been on the road for the past five weeks in our Monty and was curious about your delivery. Know that you will enjoy it.

Well we did the pre-PDI and the PDI we are now into the Post -PDI.It has been hooked up in the driveway since 3 May and we are further testing all systems. All tanks have been full to capacity for leak checks, none..Fridge had been run on Gas and electric for 12 hours each and checked for temperature..setting 2 0 Degree in freezer..42 in Fridge. Furnace has been running for temp check(it was 46 this Am and will be colder tonite( works fine..Thanks to a MOC alert on not enough heat out of the duct in front of the Fridge (3400) we checked that out..Sure enough hardly any heat although when you pulled the vent cover and stuck your hand down there..plenty of heat. Solution..Home depot Exact replacement,Adjustable, directional vent, the vent goes deeper into the duct and directes the hot air up into the camper where it is supposed to go..problem solved. Wonder why Keystone dod not think of that??? Cost 24.63 for all four vents in the 3400.A/C check will have tow wait till it warms up and we can run it for a day or so. That docking statuion is a good thing.. One hose hookup and you can do everything, fill all tanks, flush black tanks. The Docking station is my favorite. Oh..No electrical outlet anywhere near the bed.. nowhere to plug in a clock radio. Is that a hint that if you are in a camper you do not need a clock radio?? I will get power over there somehow...

I have an outlet next to the bed in my 06 so I wonder if that is not an oversight by the crew that wired it.
Sounds like you have a beautiful unit and they even impress you more after you live in them for awhile. Enjoy.

Look on the wall near the closet. There is a double outlet there in our 3400. You have to unplug anything you put in there when you put the slides in.

Rich, I have two a/c outlets on the front closet side of the bed. We had to change sides of the bed we sleep on as I use the CPAP machine and need an outlet.

This 06 Montana 3400 does not have any AC outlets anywhere near the bed.The only outlets are the one by the sink ..and one on the wall beside the dresser. There will be phone calls to Keystone Monday ..The post by Imp gives a clue as to why they removed the plug on the wall...

1.) Rich, you are retired, why do you need a clock radio, which in many cases is used to wake oneself up in the AM??
2.) If you really insist on using one of those annoying contraptions, consider putting on the dresser, and then you really will have to get out of bed to turn it off.
3.) Consider a battery run model.
4.) Consider leaving the thing at the stick built!
Leave it home, save some weight!
