I have a 2017 F350 SWR diesel. Lazyboy RV dealership would not sell me a 2019 3855BR if I had an F250. My 350 is more than enough.

I'm specifically interested in what your payload rating is on your door sticker. I realize it ultimately depends on what other options you add, but I want a ballpark estimate. The dealer can't/won't give us a straight answer until it has been built.
We have one on order and we're starting to worry we're not going to have enough payload for the fifth wheel (3121rl).
Thanks in advance

YES, I do, brand new and just got it. Exactly as you stated. Lariat Package with every bell and whistle they offered. Replaced my 2019 F250 shortbed
I have a Montana 3120 RL Legacy. I bought a 2022 F350 longbed with the 12,400 lb rating which gives me a cargo capacity of 4000 lbs. My fully loaded pin weight (which was weighed with a full tank of gas, 2 adults, 2 dogs, all my stuff, washer / dryer and generator) was sitting at approx. 3200 lbs and my 2019 F250 was pretty much maxed out which made me nervous. Now I have plenty of room to spare, not that I'll ever use it, but I'm not feeling as nervous about the weight in the truck bed.
They finally have the brochure available that tells you everything about the truck. Complete sales info, cargo and towing limits, warranties, etc. Just click on each PDF and download them. Here's the link. https://www.ford.com/trucks/super-duty/brochures/

You can still get the 12400 GVWR with the 18 inch tires. BUT .... it needs to be the AT tires because of their sidewall ratio and construction. I beleive the GVWR drops to 12000 maximum with the All Season tires.

You made the right choice. Our srw 3500 nearly weighed 10,000 lbs . Leaving 2200 for whatever else. When hitched we were 200 over rawr.with the dually we don't even think about weight..

I had to order mine to get 12,400. It only comes in the long bed version. Ordering took nearly 4 months. Most on the lots are the 11,400's.

I have a 2020 3120RL with stacking washer and dryer, onan 5500 generator and my pin weight is 3780 lbs. I have a 2019 GMC crew cab dually and I am 135 lbs over my GVWR of 13025 lbs. I think your going to be closer to max weight than you think.

What did you have on the truck that brought the weight up to nearly 10k lbs? Our weighs 8860 lbs. with two people, two dogs, mega cab, 51 gallons of diesel, tools, a notoriously heavy B&W hitch, and numerous french fries lost under the seats.

If it's not too late, switch to the 450. The wide front axle allows you to have a tighter turn radius that any truck out there. That is fantastic for maneuvering in parking lots, but where it really shines is when backing your camper in a tight campground.
Make sure you order it from the fleet representative at the dealer. I've found they are much more familiar with these trucks and they don't jerk you around like a normal sales representative can.

Interesting. On my 2012 F350 the 20" tires gave the truck a higher payload rating than the 18". I don't remember how much now.

I don't think a dually is overkill. You stated hitch weight of 3300 lbs.! That's a lot for a SRW.. Adding for you, wife, hitch weight etc you'd definitely be over..You made the right choice... congrats on the new truck..

Our 2017 SRW RAM MEGA cab had a GVWR of 12200. With our 3611 we over the axle weight by 200 lbs.. I think your tires give you the extra 200 over the Ram... Even then the Ford will be over...

We had to go with a dually, not because of the sticker on the door, but because the two tires couldn't take it. After a large bulge and a broken bead I changed to the dually and no problems after.

I have a 2022 F350 SWD, long bed Diesel that i ordered and just received after 4 months. It was the only way I could find the 12,400 lb gvwr which gave me a cargo rating of 4160 according to the door sticker
