It was probable never installed right in the first place! that is a problem with those chip push in outlets if they don't get the wires in all the way they will fall out like yours did.

Electrical problem

I have an older unit 02. But I had a similar problem. No power at the slide out . After 2 days of chasing wires, I found the problem. A loose neutral wire at the outside recipictal. One side worked and other did not. It would be so much easier if Keystone would provide a wire diagram .

Odd because my camper has not moved from it's current location since August and before that it was moved in May when I picked it up and setup for the first time.

Stick and brick houses don't get moved often, yet, even they have loose wiring issues. Just as many have bad installation problems as these RVs and as many have loose connections that were originally tight. When electrical load is applied to connections, heat is developed, and when the load is removed, the heated connections that expanded when hot, cool and shrink, which is a cause of looseness. The push connectors on the back of outlets are the worse offenders for failed connections because the little spring starts losing strength to keep the wire in tight contact and it will eventually fail or even come out of the connector. Even screw connections can fail, that is why it is such a good idea to occasionally tighten connections in the panels and anywhere they can be accessed.

I have averted many issues on my brand new trailer. I cant even start to tell you how many things Ive found loose or just plain stupid stuff. Battery cables at the circuit breakers, lines for the propane just floating between tanks, lights not working, cover for the transfer switch half off. Could have shorted out and caused a fire.. The list goes on. They must have monkeys putting these things together. I used to be an equipment mechanic for Verizon, and we used to go through every truck that came from a factory. Ive seen some bad things. Pull panels off If your able to and look around. You would be amazed. I sleep better at night.

Electrical problem

Check your plug where the shore power cord plugs into your coach. Mine had a loose wire inside the back wall. We had arcing too. Our fridge, ceiling fan, pop up outlets and electric hot water would quit. Then after a period of time would come back on. The factory wires were never tightened in the back side of the plug. It’s easy to pull the plug out and check it. Turn all power off. Including your batteries. Check the wire for voltage before touching it. But it only takes 5 min to fix it.

If I would wiggle the power cord, I could trigger the failure. Too bad it took a year to find it.

Best of luck to you.
Randy.
