careful what manufacturer you buy
We have a combo in our Montana. I won't do combo again. Saves room but too much tech in one unit. Plus separate Wash/Dryer more efficient.
DO NOT BUY Equator/Pinnacle/Any SuperCombo Have had nothing but trouble with this brand. Bad design. Have had to repair multiple times.

My tech said to stay away from Maytag as they are trouble and parts impossible to get.

Larry, I am not sure of the Inverter, it was the one that came with the Montana in 2009, I called the splindide people and they had me plug the Machine into a 120 extension cord and run the cord to the house and it worked fine on that. Also worked on the Honda, So determined that it was the inverter. Inverter had a square sine wave.

i am not much of a computer person,
but i do know the more electronics in something, the better your sine wave must be.
this day and age only a full wave is anygood. a mod style is junk, even some varable speed drill motors are one speed on a mod wave pattern.

Probably the inverter was to small to power the washer or just didn't like modified sine wave.

I had good luck with a XPower 1750 watt modified sine wave last for 12 years. My complaints with modified sine wave was that it would make my GFCI's hum and the microwave was not as efficient. Also my charger for my drill didn't like it either and burnt it out.
But my good luck with the longevity of Xpower just ended last week as it quit working. I have on order a Go Power GP-ISW2000-12 pure sine wave.

We have a Splendide and it works well. It is a combo unit and takes a while to dry the clothes.
