If everyone shipped their faulty Thetford to Keystone (who chose and continues to install these), maybe they'd change to a more reliable unit. Your choice whether or not to flush before shipping

It's not the Dometics that are bad, it's the Thetford toilets that are installed by Keystone that are the problem. Besides the nuisance problems of pedals falling off and such, quite a few people have had flooded trailers due to the poor design of the Thetford Style II toilets. There can't be that much of a difference in price between the two brands, but just like tires and all the other parts in these rigs, the bean counters dictate how much all the components can cost so they can make a profit and be competitive.

Can someone explain the difference between the 310 and 320? Looks like the 320 has a longer seat and different flush design?
Best price on a 320?
Think I am going to replace mine just cause.

I would be interested in the difference (design and price) also between the 310 and the 320. Also, is everyone sure Thetford has not made any type of improvements lately in their design or quality control? The reason I am asking is because we have used our constantly for almost a year and it has been generally fault free.

I found this comparison on PPL. Longer seat and different flush system.

Best price so far on a 320 is @ http://www.rvpartscountry.com/Dometi...let.html#tab-1
