The Michelin XPS Rib is rated for 3042 lbs @ 80 psi. The Bridgestone Duravis R500 is rated for 3085 lbs @ 80 psi.
Your assumptions are correct, I see no problem in going with the laod range G as long as your wheels are rated for the higher air pressure. There are a couple of other tires with a G load rating, less expensive than the Goodyear, but IMO they are pretty much junk, Chinese made.
You are not going to find a load range E tire with a 3200 lb weight rating in the size you need. Nobody, as far as I know, makes one.
